HUDSON--City police seized marijuana, guns and cash when the raided a Columbia Street apartment, April 26 at 9:15 p.m.
Based on alleged marijuana sales from the Schuyler Court Apartment, Police Chief Ellis C. Richardson said in a press release that members of the Hudson Police Special Operations Unit, with the assistance of detectives and patrol officers, executed the search warrant and arrested Nicholas S. Fox, 26, who lives in the apartment.
Mr. Fox is charged with fourth degree criminal possession of marijuana, a class A misdemeanor; fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon, a class A misdemeanor; and fourth degree criminal possession of stolen property, a class E felony.
While inside the apartment police seized about 3 ½ ounces of marijuana, a loaded .22 caliber revolver, a stolen .22 caliber rifle and $1,382 in U.S. currency.
The investigation is continuing.
Arraigned in City Court before Judge Richard Koweek, Mr. Fox was sent to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bond.
The Columbia County District Attorney's Office is assisting with the investigation.

*Steven Rodriguez, 19, of Craryville was charged with two counts of fifth degree criminal possession of stolen property and one count of fourth degree criminal possession of stolen property (credit card) by Officer James Nero, March 31 at 3:20 a.m.
During an interview with officers at the rear of 431 Warren Street, Mr. Rodriguez was found to allegedly possess stolen women's jewelry and a stolen credit card.
He was arraigned in City Court and sent to jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bail bond.
*Emmanuel Locust, 17, of Ghent was charged with fourth degree grand larceny by Officer Tracey Newkirk, March 19 at 6:10 p.m.
Emmanuel was charged on a Hudson Court arrest warrant because he allegedly stole a Ford F-150 truck bearing Florida license plates, which was parked on State Street. Police in Liberty recovered the truck there March 8.
Emmanuel was arraigned and released to his parents.
*Victor Dellea, 21, of Stottville was charged with fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon and third degree attempted assault by Officer Kevin Sweet, March 24 at 3:31 p.m.
Mr. Dellea allegedly struck a 24-year-old man in the face with a plastic soda bottle, causing bruises and swelling to the man's eye, March 4.
Mr. Dellea was issued a ticket to appear in court.
*Chastity Carothers, 34, of Hudson was charged with endangering the welfare of a child by Officer William Wrigley, March 26 at 9:31 p.m.
Ms. Carothers allegedly left her child in a hallway at Bliss Towers when she went to work. The child was supposed to go to a babysitter's apartment, but never showed up. The babysitter later called Ms. Carothers to ask where the child was. Police became involved and the child was subsequently found at a relative's home down the street.
Ms. Carothers was issued an appearance ticket.
*Luz Virginia Santiago, 46, of Hudson was charged with third degree criminal tampering and second degree harassment by Officer Corey Skype, March 19 at 7:45 p.m.
Ms. Santiago allegedly punched and slapped a man and “trashed” an apartment during a dispute at a residence on North Fifth Street. She was held in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1,000 bail bond.
Alcohol
The following face drug- and/or alcohol-related charges:
*Theodore Wilms, 61, of Hudson was charged with driving while intoxicated first offense, aggravated driving while intoxicated (having a blood alcohol content greater than .18%), failure to yield the right of way and two counts of illegal signal by Officer Jeffrey Keyser, March 28 at 5:31 p.m.
The officer pulled Mr. Wilms over at 76 Green Street after he almost struck the officer's marked patrol car.
He was arraigned and released.
*Christopher Bonczek, 27, of New York City was charged with driving while intoxicated first offense, aggravated driving while intoxicated (having a blood alcohol content greater than .18%), failure to stay in lane and operating an uninspected motor vehicle by Officer Corey Skype, March 20 at 2:10 a.m. The officer went to investigate a reported crash at 325 Columbia Street and found that a vehicle driven by Mr. Bonczek had hit two parked cars. He was issued an appearance ticket.
*Bryan Gregory, 37, of Stockport was charged with driving while intoxicated by Livingston State Police, April 11.
Police saw Mr. Gregory riding an all terrain vehicle on Route 9, Stockport at night with no lights on. He was subsequently found to have a blood alcohol content more than three times the legal limit at .28%. Mr. Gregory was released with numerous tickets directing him to appear in Stockport Court.
*Gary Jones, 53, of Greenport was charged with class D-felony driving while intoxicated, two class E-felonies--operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content greater than .08% and first degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle; and following too closely, a violation, by Deputies Michael Stelling and Kris Bauhoff during a traffic stop on Route 9, Greenport, April 6 at 12:27 a.m.
Arraigned in Greenport Court before Justice Robert Brenzel, Mr. Jones was sent to the county jail in lieu of $500 cash bail and directed to return to court at a later date.
*John Hayes, 50, of Sharon, Conn., was charged with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content greater than .08%, inadequate stop lamps and moving from lane unsafely by Deputies Brendan Filli and Kris Bauhoff during a traffic stop on Route 22, Copake, April 3 at 12:43 a.m. Released with tickets, Mr. Hayes will answer the charges in Copake Court April 26.
*Darrell Blond, 29, of Clifton Park was charged with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content greater than .08%, operating without a driver's license and failure to use designated lane by Deputies Michael Stelling and Sergeant William Zincio during a traffic stop on Route 9, Kinderhook, April 11 at 1:58 p.m. Mr. Blond was released with traffic tickets directing him to appear in Kinderhook Town Court April 27.
*Wesley Scherrer, 22, of Taghkanic was charged with driving while intoxicated and operating with a blood alcohol content greater than .08%, speeding and failure to keep right by Sheriff's Office Sergeant William Zincio during a traffic stop on Route 9H, Kinderhook, April 10 at 2 a.m. Mr. Scherrer was released with tickets directing him to appear in Kinderhook Town Court April 27.
*Barry Fuller, 22, of Craryville was charged with driving while intoxicated by Livingston State Police during a traffic stop on Route 23, Hillsdale, April 11. Mr. Fuller was released with tickets returnable in Hillsdale Court.
