VALATIE—A representative from Attorney General Andrew Cuomo’s Office will speak to seniors about consumer fraud issues as a part of the AG’s statewide Smart Seniors Program.
   The event takes place at the Valatie Senior Center at 212 State Farm Road, Thursday, August 27 at 11 a.m.
   The seminar will inform participants how to best avoid consumer scams that frequently target seniors, such as sweepstakes, mail orders and identity theft.
   Members of the public are invited and encouraged to attend this event.
