Skylar Reneé Waldorf, 3, loved cooking with Mom

HUDSON—Skylar Reneé Waldorf, “Our Little Angel”, 3 years and nine months old died suddenly Saturday August 8, 2009 at Columbia Memorial Skylar Reneé WaldorfHospital.

Skylar was born November 30, 2005 in Gt. Barrington, Mass., and was scheduled to attend pre-school this fall at the Taconic Hills School District.

Skylar enjoyed all outdoor activities including swimming, fishing, playing with her dog and other animals and especially cooking with Mom.

She leaves her loving parents, mom Melissa M. Waldorf of Copake, and her companion Brian Crosby; her father, Jeremy Moore of Hillsdale; and her special “Bubby”, Richard LaMere Jr. of Stanfordville. She also leaves her loving siblings, Hannah Waldorf-Moore, Brionna LaMere, Taylor Sartori, Killian Waldorf-Moore and her beloved dog, Rupert.

Additionally, her beloved grandparents, Charlene and Michael Gardy of Torrington, Conn.; Killian Waldorf Jr. of Copake; Larry and Bonnie Ingham of Philmont; Ricky LaMere of Claverack and Louise Murphy of Hudson. Also her great grandparents, Bill and Marjorie Hurley of Winsted, Conn., Phyllis Grau of Florida and Etel and Francis LaMere of Millerton, along with many other extended family members.

A great uncle, Robert Rothvoss Sr. and a cousin, Michael Parker Limoges, died previously.

Her funeral service will be held Thursday, August 13, at 11 a.m. from the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, 8063 State Route 22 in Copake.

Friends are invited and may call Wednesday, August 12, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will be in the West Copake Cemetery.
