Sanford Ingraham, 76, railroad buff

STOCKPORT–Sanford Ingraham, 76, died Thursday, September 24, 2009 at his
residence.
   Born March 29, 1933 in Albany, he was the son of the late Merrill and Irma
(Gordinier) Ingraham.
   He worked for Lorbrook for 20 years, then for Columbia Memorial Hospital for
19 1/2 years before retiring.
   Mr. Ingraham enjoyed gardening, model trains and railroad magazines.
   Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Gwendolyn (Plass) Ingraham of Stockport;
two brothers, Robert Ingraham of Hannacroix and Gerald Ingraham of Albany; a dear
friend, Gordon Hazen of Copake Falls; a grandson, Joshua Hazen of Copake Falls;
a granddaughter, Meghan Oliver of Valatie; his special nephew and niece, William
Simmons and Carol DeAngelo, both of Hudson, a great-niece, Amy Gableman of
Hudson, and many other family members and close friends.
   A calling hour will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at the Bates & Anderson – Redmond &
Keeler Funeral Home, 110 Green Street, Hudson. Services will follow at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
   Burial will be in Cedar Park Cemetery.
   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
