CATSKILL–Karol A. Nack, 72, of Livingston, died Saturday, December 12, 2009 at Kaaterskill Care Skilled Nursing and Rehab.

Born May 31, 1937 in Hudson, she was the daughter of Margaret (Miller) Carter of Claverack and the late Frederick Carter.

Mrs. Nack was employed in the office at American Finance in Hudson for over 15 years.

She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Reformed Church in Greenport and a former member of the Mt. Merino Eastern Star.

Mrs. Nack was a lifelong area resident.

In addition to her mother, surviving are her husband, Arthur “Skip” Nack, Jr. of Livingston; two sisters, Edith (Donald) Bryant of Conn., and Pamela Glasser of Hudson; four grandchildren, Christopher Matthews, Michelle and Amanda Pratt and Shiane Dierkes; and several nieces and nephews.

Her daughter, Lori Dierkes, died previously.

Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. today,Tuesday, at the Bates & Anderson – Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home, 110 Green Street, Hudson.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
