Linda Rothvoss, 70, co-operated Rothdale Farm

HUDSON–Linda J. Rothvoss, 70, of Ancramdale, a life-long local resident passed away Sunday, December 20, 2009 at Columbia Memorial Hospital. 

She was born on January 11, 1939 in Hillsdale, the daughter of the late Killian A. and Anna (Carle) Waldorf. 

A devoted mother, she was a homemaker and assisted her late husband in the operation of the family dairy, Rothdale Farm in Ancramdale.

On June 4, 1961 at the Ancramdale Presbyterian Church she married Robert D. Rothvoss Sr. He died on March 8, 2008.

Survivors include her four children, Kelly Zempko of Hudson, Mindy Miller of Ancramdale, Robert D. Rothvoss Jr. of Ancramdale and Ricky Rothvoss of Southfield, Conn. She also leaves eight grandchildren, Robert III, Karly, Abigail, Brody and Cooper Rothvoss, Lauren and Lindsay Miller and Dylan Zempko; and her two great grandchildren, Hannah and Riley Rothvoss. Additionally she is survived by three brothers, Killian Waldorf of Copake, Sheldon Waldorf of Ancram and Richard Waldorf of Pine Plains, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends are invited and may call Tuesday December 22, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Peck & Peck Funeral Home, Route 22 in Copake.

Her funeral service will be celebrated Wednesday, December 23, at 11 a.m. from the Peck & Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Frickey officiating.

Private burial will be at the convenience of the family.
