Minnie Cook, 75, enjoyed spending time with her beloved cat

HUDSON–Minnie L. Cook, 75, of Greenport, died Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Community Hospice at Columbia Memorial Hospital.

Born October 23, 1934 in Hudson, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Ella Mae (Warner) Cook.

She was employed as a waitress at the James Street Restaurant in Greenport.

Ms. Cook was a former member of the Hudson Moose Lodge.

She enjoyed spending time with her beloved cat, Morris.

She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Cornacchia of Elizaville; three sons, Ronald J. Nichols of Valatie and Jack J. and William G. Milligan, both of Pennsylvania; two sisters, Barbara Metz and Gloria Cook, both of Greenport; one brother, Albert Cook of Hudson; 13 grandchildren, several great-grand-children, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son Herbert Nichols, Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 24, 2010 in the

Greenport Manor Community Room.
