Ronald Kunda, left many special friends

HUDSON–Ronald Douglas Kunda after a long illness joined his Lord and maker on February 27, 2010.

During his lifetime Mr. Kunda’s humor and passion for people allowed him to make many special friends.

Mr. Kunda is a graduate of Hudson High School and worked as a pipe fitter until becoming disabled. He proudly served his country in the Army, including an active tour of duty in Vietnam.

Mr. Kunda will be remembered for his love of game hunting and the many trophy deer he bagged, his victory garden, and his personally prepared recipes. Most of all he will be remembered for his love and devotion to his wife of 18 years, Mary Isham of Wassaic.

He is also survived by brother Ken (Maureen) Kunda; nephews Adrian and Adam Kunda and Dominick Tibben; niece Kyle Tibben; cousin John Mizerk of Hudson; brother in law Ted Isham; sister in law B J. Tibben; and his devoted friend, Camy, his dog.

A memorial service will be conducted at St. Mark’s Church, Hudson, on April 3 at 10:30 a.m. Burial with military honors will immediately follow.

In lieu of flowers contributions in Mr. Kunda’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
