GUILDERLAND–Anna Kitsock, 95, formerly of Hudson, died Thursday, March 4 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center. Born in Zernica Wyzna, Poland on June 19, 1914 she was the daughter of the late Gregory and Krystyna (Kostyk) Oleksowicz.

Mrs. Kitsock was employed at the former Kadin Bros. Pocketbook factory in Hudson. She was a communicant of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church in Hudson.

Survivors include one daughter, Kathy A. Kitsock and her husband, Stephen Parachini of Altamont; one son, Harry J. Kitsock of Albany; two grandchildren, Alex and Natalia; as well as three sisters Mary, Ludvina and Sophie. Her husband, John Kitsock, died in 1998. Three sisters Mary, Ludvina and Sophie, also died previously.

Calling hours will be on Sunday March 7, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. with Panakhyda prayers at 7 p.m. at McDonald-Valenti-Richards Funeral Home, 700 Town Hall Drive, Hudson.

Funeral Mass will be offered Monday March 8, at 11 a.m. from St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 2nd Street in Hudson, with Fr. Janusz Jedryhowski officiating. Burial in the family plot will follow in Cedar Park Cemetery.
