Alice Blish, 73, loving mother and grandmother

HUDSON–Alice L. Blish, 73, of Stockport died Friday, March 5, at Columbia Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Blish was born November 22, 1936 in Lewis, the daughter of the late: T. Aubrey and Clara (Edmonds) Gough.

Mrs. Blish, a loving mother and grandmother, enjoyed bingo, gardening, singing, fishing and country music.

Surviving are three sons, Douglas (Elizabeth) Blish of  Averill Park, Leonard (Pamela) Blish of Chatham Center, Laurence (Sue) Blish of  North Chatham; four daughters, Lisa (Robert) Gile of Chatham Center, Laura (George) Gile of Elizaville, Sharon  (Lawrence) of Underhill, Vt., Loretta (William) Blish of Chatham; two brothers, David Gough of Hudson and Harold Gough of Hillsdale; two sisters, Sylvia Ramm of Hudson and Margaret Morehouse of North Chatham; 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Her husband, Lawrence Blish Sr.; a brother, James Gough Sr.; sister Thelma Gough and her long-time companion, Norman Clark, died previously.

The family will receive family and friends at the Yadack-Fox Funeral Home of Germantown Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m.
