Harry Warner, 91, Ag Department county supervisor

HUDSON–Harry G. Warner, 91, of Hudson, passed away Friday, April 9, 2010 at

Community Hospice at Columbia Memorial Hospital.

Born June 7, 1918 in Binghamton, he was the son of the late Charles and Melicent (Payne) Warner.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II on the NTC Sampson.

Mr. Warner was the County Supervisor for the Department of Agriculture in Hudsonand South Cairo.

He was a life member of Herschel- Argyle Mason Lodge #0508 in Hartford; a member of Grand Encampment of Knights Templar; a member of Tigris Shriners in Syracuse, and a member of the American Legion of New York.

Mr. Warner was the beloved father of Beverly Syzdek of Hudson and John Warner, andhis wife Susan, of Canaan, Conn.; devoted grandfather of Kathleen Syzdek Brown and her husband, Charles, of Selkirk, David Syzdek, and his wife, Libby, of Cheshire, Conn. and John Thomas Warner, Matthew Warner, and William Warner, all of Canaan, Conn., and loving great-grandfather of Jeremy Syzdek, Ian Syzdek, and Andrew Brown.

His wife, Beverly (Frost) Warner, died in 1990.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family.

Burial will be in Syracuse.

Arrangements are with the Bates & Anderson – Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home, Hudson.
