Pauline VanTassel, 76, long-time Hudson bank bookkeeper

 

RHINEBECK–Pauline VanTassel, 76, of Germantown died Sunday, April 25, 2010 at Northern Dutchess Hospital after a long illness.

Born May 25, 1933 in Hudson, she was the daughter of the late William and Vivian (Nonamaker) Bollinger.

She had been employed as a bookkeeper with the Farmers’s National Bank of Hudson for many years.

Survivors include her husband Alan VanTassel, whom she married September 8, 1951; one son, Roger Alan VanTassel, of Vermont; two daughters, Katrina Arlene VanTassel of Ballston Spa and Klaudia Louise Frizzell of Staatsburgh; one sister, Arlene Rowen of Germantown; and two grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday May 22 at her  home.

Burial will  be in the Valley View Cemetery of Germantown.

Arrangements are with the Yadack-Fox Funeral Home, Germantown.
