Police seek suspect in shooting

HUDSON—A 22-year-old Hudson man was shot in the head in the vicinity of First and Columbia streets near the low rise apartments, May 29 at about 3:20 p.m.
Police say that the victim’s injuries are not life threatening. He was taken to Columbia Memorial Hospital and later to Albany Medical Center.
City police received multiple calls about the shooting and say that the weapon was a handgun of an unknown type.
The suspect is a described as an African American man wearing red pants, a white T-shirt and a large Afro.
Police are currently pursuing many leads.
