Cheryl Ann Torchia, 46, member of VFW ladies auxiliary

HUDSON–Cheryl Ann Torchia, 46, of Hudson, passed away Friday, May 7, 2010  at Community Hospice at Columbia Memorial Hospital.

 

Born June 11, 1963 in Hudson, she was the daughter of the late Barbara Poucher.

 

Mrs. Torchia was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

 

She was a member of the VFW Post 1314 Ladies Auxiliary.

 

Mrs. Torchia is survived by her grandmother, Cora Anelle of Livingston; her husband, Carmen “Turtle” Torchia of Hudson; three daughters, Angela Ciancetta of Greenport, Chelsea Torchia of Livingston, and Brittany Torchia of Livingston; four grandchildren, and many close friends.

 

A calling hour will begin at noon Monday at the Bates & Anderson – Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home, 110 Green Street, Hudson.

 

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. by the VFW Post 1314 Ladies Auxiliary from the funeral home.

 

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
