GREENPORT–Catherine E. Dallas, 93, joined her beloved husband, William, in heaven on Friday, May 21, 2010.

 

Born June 29, 1916 in Newfoundland, she was the daughter of the late John and Sarah (Nolen) Conway.

 

Mrs. Dallas was employed at the N.Y.S. Training School For Girls for 21 years before retiring.

 

She was a member of the Becraft Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Greenport Pumper #1 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and casino trips.

 

Surviving are her son, William Dallas, Jr., and his wife, Steffanie, of Greenport; her daughter, Mary Kisselburg, and her husband, Charles of Greenport; one grandson, Russell Kisselburg of Greenport; three granddaughters, Tamela Kiel (Bradley) of Ghent, Rhonda Johnson (Robert B.) of Churchtown, and Mary Anne Kisselburg of Chantilly, Va.; three great-grandchildren, Brittany Kiel, Ryan Kiel, and Demeterus Little, and several nieces and nephews.

 

Her husband, William Dallas, Sr., four sisters, and nine brothers died previously.

 

Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Bates & Anderson – Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home, 110 Green Street, Hudson.

 

Prayers will be held at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. from the Church of St. Joseph’s in Stottville.

 

Burial will be in Cedar Park Cemetery.
