Justin Peters, 21, Hudson High grad, fan of Saints and Mets

WEST GHENT—Justin Keith Peters, 21, of Hudson, died Friday, August 27 as a result of an auto accident.

He was born April 29, 1989 in Hudson, the son of Keith and Paula (Platner) Peters.


He was a 2007 graduate of Hudson High School and an avid fan of the New Orleans Saints and the New York Mets.

He was employed in the shipping department at General Roll Leaf Manufacturing Company in Ghent.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Peters is survived by his sister, Mackenzie Lauren Peters of Hudson; paternal grandparents, Fred and Marge Peters of Greenport; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Merle and Alice (Archambault) Platner.

Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 31 at the Yadack-Fox Funeral Home, Germantown.

Funeral services will be held 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 1 from the funeral home and at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Resurrection, Germantown, where the Reverend Theodore Gerken will celebrate a Mass of the Christian Burial.

Interment will follow in the Nativity Church Cemetery of Linlithgo.
