Paul Conway, 64, Vietnam vet, auto technician

ALBANY—Paul E. Conway, 64, of County Route 21, Ghent, died Monday, August 30, 2010 at Albany Medical Center.
Born in Hudson, January 5, 1946, he was the son of the late Edward J. and Alice E. (Ingham) Conway.

 

Mr. Conway was in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War and worked as an auto tech for Midas in East Greenbush and Hudson. He was also a member of the Kinderhook Elks Lodge #2530.
He is survived by his wife, Janet (Weinheimer) Conway; three brothers, E. James “Jim” Conway and Donald R. Conway, both of Ghent, and Dave L. Conway of Stockport.
He was predeceased by his brother, Timothy L. Conway.

Calling hours will be Thursday, September 2, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Inc., Route 9, Valatie. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Stroke Association, 9707 Easter Lane, Building D, Centennial, CO 80112.
