Myron Elmendorf, 45, truck driver, collected eagle statues

LIVINGSTON—Myron Duffy Elmendorf, 45, of Germantown died Tuesday October 5, 2010 at the Livingston Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born August 2, 1965 he was the son of the late Myron and Rhoda Munroe Elmendorf.

 

Prior to illness forcing his retirement, he was a truck driver with Waste Management and Remediation Services of Ghent, and more recently in the maintenance department at the Livingston Hills Nursing and Rehab Center.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman, who enjoyed collecting American Eagle statues.

Surviving are his wife, Mary (Myers) Elmendorf, whom he married June 29, 1991 in Red Hook; a daughter, Michelle at home; a step brother, Bucky Lite of Hyde Park; a step sister, Diane Decker of Cairo; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, October 8 at the Yadack-Fox Funeral Home of Germantown.  Interment will follow in the Linlithgo Rural Cemetery of Linlithgo.
