Pasquale Gaudio, 70, worked at barber shop and GE

SCHENECTADY—Pasquale “Pat” Gaudio of Schenectady died Saturday, October 23 at the Ellis McClellan Center Hospital in Schenectady. He was 70.

Born in Amorosi, Italy December 10, 1939 he was the son of the late Guiseppe and Fulvia (Romano) Gaudio.

He was employed for many years with General Electric in Schenectady andworked at Alex’s Barber Shop in Loudon Plaza, Albany for many years as well.
He is survived by a brother, Stefano and (Valeria) Gaudio of Amorosi, Italy; niece and nephews, Fulvia, Guiseppe, and Francesco Gaudio also of Italy; and his beloved companion of 13 years, Anetta Gallo of Schenectady, many cousins and other family members.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday October 27, 1:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 429 East Allen Street, Hudson, with Fr. Winston Bath officiating. Burial will follow in the family plot at Cedar Park Cemetery.

A calling hour will be from noon to 1 p.m. at McDonald-Valenti-Richards Funeral Home, 700 Town Hall Drive, Greenport.

Mr. Gaudio’s family would like to acknowledge with grateful appreciation Dr. Joseph Fusella, Dr. David Armenia, Dr. Page Salenger and Dr. George Vassolas as well as the nurses and staff at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady.
