Gertrude Mullins, 79, seamstress, devoted mother

HUDSON—Gertrude Mullins, 79, of Hudson died Monday December 7, 2010 at Columbia Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Mullins was born April 3, 1931 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Pasquale and Theresa (Senzio) Russo.

She worked as a seamstress in Hudson for many years.

A devoted mother and loving grandmother she is survived by: three sons, Anthony (Kathy) Mullins of Cicero, Neil (Michelle) Mullins of Las Vegas, NV, and Christopher (Janice) Mullins of Germantown; one daughter, Charlene (James) Plasky of Stockport; two sisters, Anna Marcinkiewicz of Amsterdam; grandchildren, Amy, Stephen, Craig, Caitlin, Adam, Steven, Amanda and Brandon; great grandchildren, Mikayla and Joey; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Neil Mullins, who died March 7, 2002 and her sister, Mary Piehuta.

Calling hours will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, December 9 at the Yadack-Fox Funeral Home of Germantown.

A Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Winston Bath, 10 a.m. Friday, December 10 at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church of Hudson.

Interment will follow in the Cedar Park Cemetery.
