CHATHAM—Paul W. Fuller passed away January 19, 2011 at his home.
He was born July 15, 1913 in Gouverneur, the son of the late Sherman D. and Della Hardy Fuller.
Mr. Fuller is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Helen P. (Peters) Fuller; his sons, David P. Fuller (Wendy) of Chatham and Daniel P. Fuller (JoAnn) of Canandaigua; his grandchildren, Josiah Fuller (Sarah B.) of Pomfret, CT., Sarah Fuller of Chatham, Ryan Fuller (Kinnari) of Dallas, TX, Steven Fuller of Park City, UT; his nieces, Pam Fuller of Hamilton, Debbie Gardner (Bruce) of Canandaigua, Karen Scott of Greene, Carlene Lankton of Bleeker Stage, Joanne Burdick (Charles) of South Wellfleet, MA.
Mr. Fuller was the chairman of the board of the Payn Home Foundation, a member of the Chatham Methodist Church, member of the Columbia Golf and Country Club, past president of the Eastern Seniors Golf Association, member of the Chatham Exchange Club, member of the Austerlitz Club, former Chatham Village trustee, scoutmaster of the Chatham Boy Scouts and served on the Ghent Board of Assessment Review.
In 1945, he founded and operated Chatham Frozen Foods, Inc. He enjoyed golf and traveling.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the local chapter of the American Cancer Society.
Funeral services were at the French, Gifford, Preiter & Blasl Funeral Home, Chatham, January 22. Interment followed at the Ghent Union Cemetery.
