Helen Fuller, 95, gardener, golfer
CHATHAM—Helen P. Fuller passed away February 2, 2011 at her home. She was born September 15, 1915 in Bleeker Stage, the daughter of Casper J. and Belle E. Peters.
She was predeceased by her husband, Paul W. Fuller.
She is survived by her sons, David P. Fuller (Wendy) of Chatham and Daniel P. Fuller (JoAnn) of Canandaigua; her grandchildren, Josiah Fuller (Sarah) of Pomfret, CT, Sarah Fuller of Chatham, Steven Fuller of Park City, Utah and Ryan Fuller (Kinnari) of Dallas TX.; her nieces, Karen Scott of Greene, Carlene Lankton of Bleeker Stage, Pam Fuller of Hamilton and Deborah Fuller (Bruce) of Canandaigua.
Mrs. Fuller, better known as “Pete” to her friends, was an avid gardener, a member of the Kinderhook Garden club, member of Columbia Golf and Country Club, member and treasurer of the Chatham United Methodist Church, past president of the Chatham PTA, Scout leader and partner in her husband’s business, Chatham Frozen Foods.
She was a mother who gave her children and grandchildren great love and attention and her husband of 70 years the greatest love and affection.
Services will be held in the spring at the convenience of the family.
