Tanya Fiorillo, 63, secretary, receptionist

HUDSON—Tanya Jean Fiorillo, lifelong resident of Hudson, died Wednesday November 2, 2011 at Columbia Memorial Hospital. She was 63.

Born in Hudson September 2, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Alice (Stone) Torchia.

Mrs. Fiorillo was a secretary at Columbia Memorial Hospital. She was also employed with Adventist Nursing Home in Livingston as a receptionist and later in accounting with Ginsberg’s Foods, Inc. of Hudson.

She was a member of Sacred Heart/Our Lady of Mount Carmel Traditional Roman Catholic Shrine in Hudson.

She was the loving wife of Dominic Fiorillo of Hudson, who survives. Also surviving are: one brother, Anthony and (Janet)Torchia of Philmont; nephews and nieces, David and (Kathleen) Walker, Michael and (Brenda) Walker, Anthony and (Bonnie) Torchia, Michelle and (James) Edgeworth, Robin and (John Helmandollar, Debbie and (Tom) Johnson, Mark and (Jennifer) Torchia, Thomas Coons, Jeff and (Cindy) Coons, Andrew and (Jessica) Coons, Adam Coons; as well as, several great-nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her brother and sister, Joseph Torchia and Marie Walker.

A funeral Mass was held Saturday, November 5 at Sacred Heart/Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Shrine, Route 9, Hudson. Burial followed in the family plot at Cedar Park Cemetery.

Arrangements were with the Sacco-McDonald-Valenti Funeral Home, 700 Town Hall Drive, Greenport.

Constance Huff, 80, homemaker, auxilian

CATSKILL—Constance L. Huff, 80, of Columbiaville, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011 at Kaaterskill Care in Catskill.

Born November 18, 1930 in Hudson, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Elizabeth (Wheeler) Balder.

Mrs. Huff was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family.  She was a member of the Hudson Moose Lodge Ladies Auxiliary and the C.H. Evans Hook and Ladder Ladies Auxiliary.

She was the beloved mother of Edward Huff, George E. Huff, III, Christopher Huff and Michael Huff; devoted grandmother of Lisa Marie Huff, and loving sister of Charlie Friss.

She was predeceased by her husband, George E. Huff, Jr., and a son, Robert A. Huff.

Services were held Saturday, November 5 at the Bates & Anderson – Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home. Burial was in Cedar Park Cemetery in Hudson.

Teresa Molinari, 87, dressmaker, liked to cook

ELIZAVILLE—Teresa Molinari, 87, of Elizaville, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2011 at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born July 24, 1924 in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Alberto and Albina Molinari.

Ms. Molinari was an accomplished dressmaker for Lord and Taylor in New York City. She was a member of the Church of the Nativity in Linlithgo and a member of the Livingston Senior Citizens. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and doing arts and crafts.

Surviving are her devoted brother, Albert Molinari of Elizaville, numerous loving cousins and many good friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Naimoli and a brother, Paul Molinari.

Visiting hours are 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, November 6 at the Bates & Anderson-Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home, 110 Green Street, Hudson.

Prayers will be held at 8:30 a.m. Monday, November 7 at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 429 East Allen Street, Hudson.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Woodside.

Louis Tuczynski, 76, Korean War vet, construction worker

ALBANY—Louis James Tuczynski, Jr., 76, a lifelong resident of Stockport, passed away November 1, 2011 at the Veteran’s Hospital after losing his battle with cancer.

Born August 6, 1935, he was the son of the late Louie and Helen Tuczynski.

Mr. Tuczynski was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Korea. For many years, he worked construction and for several years he was employed by LB Products in Hudson before retiring in 1990.

Following his retirement, he remained active and worked on the family Christmas tree farm. He enjoyed family, friends, hunting, fishing and yard sales.

He was predeceased by his sister, Gloria and his grandson, J.J.

Survivors include: sons, Louie (Jill) Tuczynski, Todd (Sandy) Tuczynski; brothers, Ed (Vicki) Tuczynski and Dave (Robin) Tuczynski; granddaughter, Talika Tuczynski; grandsons, Michael and Frank Dianda; nephew, Matt Tuczynski; nieces, Cheryl (John) Rigas and Nadine (Jason) Gabriel; several grandnieces and a grandnephew.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Donations in Mr. Tuczynski’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of one’s choice.

Gladys McMichael, 88, mother, grandmother

HUDSON—Gladys E. McMichael, 88, of Stuyvesant died Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Columbia Memorial Hospital.

Born in Germantown, April 11, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Casper and Mary (Rushmore) Collier.

She is survived by: five children, Lois Ward of Diluth, GA, Byron (Buddy) McMichael (Donna) of Kinderhook, Lynda Rouse of Ghent, Deborah Keil of Stuyvesant and Mark McMichael (Chris) of Whiteville NC; two sisters; Gloria Cole of Ormond Beach, FL and Doris Sullivan of New Jersey; seven grandchildren, Corbin, Jennifer, Byron, Tamara, Erin, Mark and Jessica; and eight great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her sister, Marjorie Canvin.

Funeral services and burial will private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the
