Shirley Dunham, 87, gardener

HUDSON–Shirley M. Dunham, 87, of Philmont passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Columbia Memorial Hospital. 
She was born December 16, 1924 in Clermont. Mrs. Dunham enjoyed gardening. 
She is survived by her children, Anna Blass of Ancram; Edward Dunham of Copake and Elizabeth Ferrere of Craryville; as well as, a granddaughter, Erin Dunham of New York City. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert Dunham.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pine Haven Resident Sunshine Fund, P.O. Box 785, Philmont 12565.

Dorothy Hildebrant, 93, co-owned Century House

KINDERHOOK–Dorothy H. Hildebrant, 93, of Kinderhook died Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at her home.

Born in Brooklyn, July 1, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Ivar and Ethel (Gies) Strandvold.

Mrs. Hildebrant was the former co-owner of the Century House, an antiques business in Riverdale NJ.

She is survived by: her daughter, Vicky French (Donald) of Kinderhook; her sister, Evelyn Mason; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward L. Hildebrant.

Graveside services will be held Friday, February 3 at 11 a.m. in the First Reformed Church Cemetery, Pompton Plains, NJ. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Inc., Valatie.
