PHILMONT—The Village has a new trustee with the election of Matthew Perry to the Village Board.

Election results obtained from election official Kurt Basl reveal just a two-vote separation between the highest voter-getter and the lowest of the three candidates running for two village trustee seats.

Incumbent Barbara Sagal, running on the Community Party received 107 votes, Matthew Perry running on the Mill Party collected 106 votes and incumbent Brian Johnson on the Heritage Party line gathered 105 votes.
