Charles Lauster, 76, machine operator, Army vet

VALATIE—Charles H. Lauster, 76, of Valatie died Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Barnwell Nursing Facilities.

Born in Schodack Landing, August 24, 1935, he was the son of the late Theodore Karl and Martha Mae (Shortsleeve) Lauster.

Mr. Lauster was a US Army veteran and worked for Columbia Boxboard in Chatham as a machine operator for 33 years.

He is survived by: four children, Daniel Lauster of Catskill, Steven Lauster (Sue) and Shawn Lauster, both of Valatie, and Jody Lauster (Mary) of North Chatham; five siblings, Edith, Helen, Paula, Thomas and Harold; seven grandchildren, Daniel, Kyle, Harley, Samantha, Toby, Alysha and

Carly; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Sandy Lauster and brothers and sisters, Bob, Dick, Elsie, Ted and Joseph.

Funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Inc. Valatie.

Anita George, 81, homemaker, Avon lady

ALBANY—Anita M. George, 81, a resident of Barnwell Nursing Center in Valatie NY, died Friday, April 27, 2012 at St. Peter’s Hospital.

Born in Easton, PA, March 18, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Laberta (Quick) Werkheiser.

Mrs. George was a homemaker and an Avon representative for many

years.

She is survived by: three children, LeRoy George, Jr. of Chatham, Vincent George of Stuyvesant, and Sharon George Dupra; a sister, Norma Johnson of Amsterdam; seven grandchildren, Kristina Bonetsky, Jennifer, Marcus, Laelani, Sasha and Kyle George and Nicole Dupra; two great grandchildren, Asia Monae and Kyah Bonetsky.

She was predeceased by her husband, LeRoy George, Sr.

Leonard Sutton, 59, driver, convenience store worker

HUDSON—Leonard E. Sutton 59 of Livingston passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Columbia Memorial Hospital. He succumbed to recently diagnosed pancreatic cancer.

Mr. Sutton was born June 25, 1952 and was the son of the late Frank Sutton and the late Katherine Wells.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Kasulis-Sutton; daughters, Michelle, Melody and Lisa; sons, Leonard, Joseph and Craig; eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two sisters, Denise and Melody, two brothers, Frank and Martin.

He was predeceased by his brother, Jestion and wife Irene Miles.

He is fondly remembered by his extended family and friends. Many know him best from his work at Dierks Transportation as a driver and more recently as an employee of Bells Pond X-tra Mart.

Services were Friday, April 27 at the Yadack-Fox Funeral Home, Germantown with the Reverend Bernice West officiating.

Mary Anne Stackhouse, 39, mother, soulmate

NEW LEBANON—Marie Anne Shadeaux Stackhouse, 39 of Main Street, New Lebanon, died at home Sunday, April 22, 2012.

She was born in San Antonio, Texas, February 21, 1973.

She was the loving mother of Jasmine Kolonics and soulmate of Louis A. Kolonics.

Arrangements are with Simple Choices, Inc., Albany.
