Brian Beisel (1953 – 2012)
ALBANY—Brian C. Beisel of Albany passed away suddenly at his home, Saturday, May 26, 2012.
Born August 6, 1953 in Greenbay, WI, he was the beloved son of the late Fred C. and Elizabeth L. (Lyon) Beisel.
Mr. Beisel was the loving brother of Fred “Rick” Beisel of Loudonville and Charles “Ted” Beisel of Saunderstown, RI.
He was also a proud uncle of Olympic swimmer Elizabeth Beisel and Daniel Beisel both of Saunderstown, RI.
There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are with the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Inc., Valatie.
Veronica Decker (1939 – 2012)
GHENT—Veronica F. Decker, 72, of Ghent died Tuesday, May 22 at her residence following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Decker was born August 4, 1939, the daughter of the late Nathan and Elizabeth (Teator) Rapp.
She is survived by her husband, Henry W. Decker of Ghent; daughters, Holly and husband Wayne Fiero of Old Chatham, Dawn and husband Bob Wright of Lunenburg, VT; son, Henry Decker of Ghent; grandchildren, Cory, Nathan and Ryan Fiero.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Gordon and Roger Rapp.
A gathering of relatives and friends will be held Friday, June 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the American Legion Post #42 Woodbridge Avenue, Chatham. Inurnment will be in the Saratoga National Cemetery. Ethel Wright (1925 – 2012)

HUDSON & ALBANY—Mother and son died within two days of each other. Brett A. Wright, 53, of Claverack died May 17 at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany and his mother, Ethel Wright, 86, of Philmont died May 19 at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson.
Mr. Wright was born March 7, 1959 in New York City to Edward and Ethel Wright.
He worked as a handyman in Virginia and in California before moving to Claverack.
Mrs. Wright was born November 1, 1925 in Manhattan.
Prior to her retirement, she worked as a sales clerk in the jewelry business in New York City. More recently, she was a resident of the Pine Haven Home of Philmont.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward.
Private cremation services for both were held at the Cedar Hill Crematory in Newburgh.
Arrangements were with the Yadack-Fox Funeral Home in Germantown.
