Police hunt for bank robbery suspect

HUDSON—The man who robbed the Bank of America at 561 Warren Street is still at large, according to an update received from Hudson Police the morning of July 6.

Police report that at about 12:29 p.m. on July 5, a man stole an undetermined amount of money from the bank. No one was injured during the incident and no weapon was displayed.

Police describe the suspect as an older black male with a slight mustache, last seen wearing a dark-colored baseball cap, white polo-style, two- or three-button, pinstriped, collared shirt, blue jeans and dark-colored sneakers with light-colored insignias.

Hudson Police patrol officers and detectives responded to the scene and are investigating.

The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, New York State Police, Catskill Police and other local police agencies were notified and are assisting with attempts to find the suspect.
