Yvonne Pulver (1944 – 2013)
HUDSON—Yvonne Pulver, 68, of Elizaville died Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Columbia Memorial Hospital.
Born July 2, 1944 in Hudson, she was the daughter of the late Curtis Coons Sr., and Flossie (Wentzel) Coons.
Mrs. Pulver was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed bingo, sewing and crafts of all kinds. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Manorton.
Survivors include: her son, Edward Pulver, Jr., of Red Hook; two daughters, Dawn Miller of Cairo and Alicia Ouimetter of CT; 12 siblings, Edith Dymond of Hudson, Irene Cozza of Hudson, Benjamin Coons of Elizaville, Harold Coons of Hudson, Earl (Bill) Coons of Elizaville, Elaine Rivenburgh of Ghent, Diana Coons of Elizaville, Carol Newton of MA, Donald Coons, Sr., of Elizaville, Robert Coons of Elizaville, Susan VanKuren of Athens, Gale Plafker of Delaware; five grand children and two great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Pulver who died in 1978; a sister, Winifred Silvia and brother, Curtis Coons, Jr.
Calling hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, January 14 at the Yadack-Fox Funeral Home in Germantown.
Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 15 at the Rhinebeck Cemetery with the Reverend Mark Frickey officiating.
Richard L. Dolan (1927 – 2013)
CATSKILL—Richard L. Dolan, 85, a resident of Kaaterskill Care in Catskill and formerly of Greenport and Valatie, died Saturday, January 12, 2013.
Born August 8, 1927 in Valatie, he was the son of the late William and Ethel (Stalker) Dolan.
He was a husband, father and grandfather.
Mr. Dolan served in the Navy during World War II. He was owner of Dolan-Miller Contractors, Inc. in Valatie for 45 years.
His family knew and loved him as “a wise and kind soul who was a gift to this world and will be missed.”
He is survived by: three children, Richard L. Dolan, II, of Greenport, Ronda L. Smith (Ronald J. Smith, Jr.) of Sheridan, IN, Reginald F. Dolan (Ana Arsenio-Dolan) of Greenport; two sister-in-laws, Sandra Easton of Marcy and Harriett Dolan of Valatie; two grandsons, Justin D. Shepherd of Yorkville, IL and Eric J. Smith of Sheridan, IN, and a nephew, Russell Dolan of Valatie.
He was predeceased by his wife, Marie A. (Gaudinier) Dolan and his brother, Everett Dolan.
Funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.

Jeanne Goldman (1953 – 2013)
GREENPORT—Jeanne Goldman of Greenport died Saturday, January 12, 2013 at her home, with her family and special friends by her side.
She was born October 28, 1953 in Hudson, the daughter of Robert G. Parlman of Copake and Dolores (Conte) Parlman, who predeceased her in 1987.
Mrs. Goldman attended St. Mary’s Academy before graduating from Hudson High School. She continued her education at SUNY Cobleskill majoring in horticultural floral design and the Boston School of Floral Design. After graduation she pursued a second career at Columbia Memorial School of Nursing, where she became a registered nurse specializing in Intensive Care.
Returning to her love of flowers, Mrs. Goldman owned and operated the Yankee Petaler and the Rosery Flower Shop in Hudson.
She married Peter Goldman in 1978 and from this union, their daughters, Erin and Abby were born.
Mrs. Goldman was a loving wife and mother, her family was her first priority. An accomplished cook, she enjoyed entertaining her family and friends. She was also “Mom” to her beloved Labradors, Grace and Ruthie.
In addition to her father, Robert, she is survived by: her husband, Peter Goldman; daughters, Erin of Hudson and Abby Larsen (Kai) of San Jose, California; her brother, Robert M. Parlman (Valerie) of Holland, Michigan; her sister, Joan Parlman of Bisbee, Arizona; several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends, Joyce, Donna, RoseMary, MaryAnne and Sheila.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 16 at St. Mary’s Church, 429 East Allen Street, Hudson.
Rosemarie E. Kornelli (1929 – 2013)
SHARON, CT—Rosemarie E. Kornelli, 83, of County Route 7, Copake passed away Friday January 11, 2013 at Sharon Hospital.
She was born June 7, 1929 in the Bronx, the daughter of Anton and Caroline (Geotz) Kornelli.
Ms. Kornelli had been a local resident for the past 10 years. She previously resided in Palisades Park, NJ.
Prior to her retirement she was employed as a supervisor for New York Bell Telephone.
Survivors include her nephew and his wife, Kenneth and Debra Kornelli of Copake, along with several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Friends are invited and may call Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, 8063 State Route 22, Copake.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, January 16 at noon at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church in Palisades Park, NJ.
Interment will follow at the Madonna Cemetery in Fort Lee, NJ.

Martha “Mattie” R. Heald (1930 – 2013)
HUDSON—Martha “Mattie” R. Heald, 82, of Greenport, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Columbia Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Born November 30, 1930 in Hudson, she was the daughter of the late Bertram and Jane (Kisselburg) Kraft.
Mrs. Heald was a homemaker. She was a lifelong area resident and a member of the Women of the Moose and the Greenport Senior Citizens Club.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 47 years, Raymond Heald.
Surviving are: her devoted children, Thomas (Karen) Heald of South Carolina, Kevin (Lynn) Heald of Pennsylvania, Philip (Susan) Heald of Acra, Eric Heald of Greenport and Ann (Ralph) Burch of Fayetteville, NC; 12 grandchildren; her brother, Joseph Kraft; two sisters, Mabel Yole and Margie Stensen; several great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Bertram Kraft, Jr.
Services will be conducted at 6 p.m. Wednesday, January 16 at the Bates & Anderson-Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home.
Burial will be in St. Thomas Lutheran Cemetery, Churchtown.
