Steve Munson then tied the game at three, scoring all of his teammates with a bases clearing double. An error at first moved runners to the corners as Joe Williams reached base. Garrett Jornov brought Munson home for a 4-3 lead and a pair of passed balls brought Williams home and moved Jornov all the way to third, where he would come home on a balk. Hall drew a walk and Coons would eventually make his way back up in the second to drive home the seventh run of the inning with an RBI double.

Both teams went down quietly in the third before the Hudson offense manufactured a pair of runs in the fourth. With one out Blanks got on base with a single and stole second and third, as Dustin Conte drew a walk. Darren Conte then plated both with a double to pull Hudson to within two.

Still down two, Hudson again found ways to bring runs home, plating four. Dustin and Darren Conte each walked to lead off the inning and Elias Lopez blasted a two RBI triple to score both. Gardner brought Lopez home with a sacrifice fly. A double by Moore meant the end for Hall on the mound, who was replaced by Williams, but a wild pitch an error eventually brought in Hudson’s ninth run of the game. In the bottom of the inning Chatham pulled within one run as Williams led off with a double and came home on a Kody Skpe single later in the inning.

Dustin Conte walked and Darren Conte brought Blanks home with a ground rule double. Lopez walked to load the bases and Gardner brought home the Contes with a two RBI single. After a pair of outs Manny Folds walked to again load the bases and Flynn O’Connell came on in relief for Chatham. Addison Cunningham was hit by a pitch to bring home the final run of the game.
