ANCRAM—Thirty Democrats participated in the Ancram Democratic Caucus, Saturday, August 3 at the Town Hall.
Incumbent Supervisor Art Bassin, a Democrat, was nominated as his party’s candidate for a third two-year term as Town Supervisor.
Incumbent Town Board members Madeleine Israel, a Democrat, and Chris Thomas, a Republican, were each nominated to run for their second four-year-term. Their two Town Board seats are up for grabs on the November ballot.
Ancram Republicans caucus Saturday, August 17 at 4 p.m. to decide on their nominees for the Town Board and supervisor positions.
