Richard E. Fletcher (1938 – 2013)
ALBANY—Richard E. Fletcher, 75, of Livingston, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Albany Medical Center.
He was born January 3, 1938 in Unadilla.
He was employed as superintendent of highways for the Town of Livingston from 1976 to 2000 and owned and operated a small engine repair shop.
Mr. Fletcher was a member of the Livingston Memorial Chapel in Linlithgo.
He is survived by: his beloved wife, Levina (Almstead) Fletcher of Livingston; three devoted daughters, Audrey (Guy) Hughes of Clermont, Robin Spawn of Guilderland and Kathleen Twing of Housatonic, MA; two sisters, Carol (Ed) Turk of Stanford and Lynn Reynolds of Florida; two brothers-in-law, Edward Almstead of Claverack and Robert (Barbara) Almstead of Greenport; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 23 at the Bates & Anderson – Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home, Hudson.
Burial will be in the Linlithgo Cemetery.

Vivian H. Porreca (1922 – 2013)
LIVINGSTON—Vivian H. Porreca, 90, of Claverack, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Livingston Hills Nursing Center.
Born October 17, 1922 in Blue Stores, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Mae Haywood.
Mrs. Porreca was a homemaker and a member of the Trippers Senior Citizens.
She is survived by: her daughter and son-in-law, Candace and Angelo Melino of Germantown, her son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Diane Jacobs of Niverville; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husbands, Roswell Jacobs and Charles Porreca.
Graveside services were held Saturday, August 24 at the Stuyvesant Falls Cemetery.

Josephine Rose Maczynski (1923 – 2013)
RHINEBECK—Josephine R. Maczynski, 89, of Rhinebeck died Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Northern Dutchess Hospital.
Born November 23, 1923 in Poland, she married Slawomir Maczynski February 18, 1942 at the Holy Cross Polish National Catholic Church in Brooklyn. He predeceased her August 31, 1999.
Mrs. Maczynski worked as a quality control supervisor for Johnson & Johnson in Summerville, NJ, and as a model for the Ford Agency in New York City.
She and her husband were very active in the Polish community. As part of the Polish American Citizens Club in Whitehouse Station, NJ, they organized and ran many Polish dance competitions and language classes. Mrs. Maczynski would also have various craft workshops and created the costumes for the dances.
For years, Mrs. Maczynski was a parishioner of Good Shepherd Church in Rhinebeck and was an active member of the Rhinebeck Democratic Party.
She is survived by: two daughters, Christine Mindur of Rhinebeck and Jola Ryan-Barker of Rhinebeck; a son, Luke Maczynski of Whitehouse Station, NJ; her grandchildren, Michael Maczynski of Mays Landing, NJ, Melanie Iannace of Marmora, NJ, Danielle Maczynski of Whitehouse Station, NJ, Christopher Vogt of Easton, PA, Alexia St. Clair of Ancram, Oliver Mindur of Delray, FL, and Dominique Mindur of Rhinebeck; her great grandchildren, Casey McCarthy, Collin Vogt, Cameron Vogt, Samaira St. Clair, Drew St. Clair, Courtney Iannace, Travis Iannace, and Jack Iannace, Jr.; many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Along with her husband, she was predeceased by two sisters, and a brother.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Church of the Good Shepherd, Rhinebeck. Burial was at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Barrytown.

Eugene Edward Moore (1959 – 2013)
HUDSON—Eugene Edward Moore, 53, a lifelong area resident, passed away suddenly August 19, 2013 at Columbia Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Moore was a truck driver for BAC Sales, Inc. of Valatie, and had previously driven for Arnoff Moving and Storage for many years.
Born December 21, 1959 in Sharon, CT he was the son of the late Alan Myron and Jacqueline Marie (Kelsey) Moore.
Mr. Moore enjoyed hunting and fishing and being outdoors and was a longtime member of the Millerton Gun Club. He was very much loved and was taken too young; he will always be missed and remembered.
Mr. Moore is survived by: his loving wife, Dana L. (Dauwalder) Moore at home; his two children, Dustin and Kelsey Moore; a brother, John Moore; four sisters, Sandy Holst-Grubbe, Patricia Shea, Dorothy Tanner and Joanne Gop; several nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Marjorie and Deborah Moore.
There will be no calling hours. Graveside services and burial will take place Monday, August 26, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at Irondale Cemetery, Route 22, Millerton, the Reverend Jan Brooks officiating.
