ANCRAM—Twenty-one Ancram Republicans caucused at the Town Hall, August 17.

Incumbent Town Board member Chris Thomas and Arnie Anderson, Sr., both registered Republicans, were  nominated for the two Town Board seats on the ballot this November. Incumbent Town Supervisor Art Bassin, a Democrat, was endorsed by Republicans for his third two-year term. At their caucus earlier this month, Ancram Democrats nominated Mr. Bassin for supervisor, Mr. Thomas for Town Board and incumbent Councilwoman Madeleine Israel, a Democrat.
