Voters OK budgets in all 6 school districts

GHENT–School budgets in all six Columbia County public school districts–Chatham, Hudson, Ichabod Crane, Taconic Hills and Germantown–won voter approval by substantial margins Tuesday.

Voters also overwhelmingly approved the propositions offered by those districts. Germantown, Taconic Hills, New Lebanon and Ichabod Crane will make capital improvements, and ICC will also have approval to buy more buses and have a student as an ex officio member of the board. Hudson won approval for the sale of the closed Greenport School building on Route 66.

See chart below for the results made available by the districts Tuesday night after the polls closed. District websites offer additional information.
