Judith Gale Quinn (1938 – 2014)
CHATHAM—Judith Gale Quinn, 76, passed away peacefully September 22, 2014.
She had five siblings and was one of two born August 16, 1938 in Elmore, Vermont to the late Royce Wayland May of Wolcott, VT and the late Arlene Susan (Bonett) May of St Johnsbury, VT.
On November 16, 1958, she married the late George T. Quinn of Pine Plains, also a twin born September 27, 1938. He died December 20, 2004. They were married fpr 46 years.
Mrs. Quinn was an avid camper who enjoyed gardening and baking.
Her children, Kelly W. Quinn of Trinity, NC; Francis J. Quinn of Wingdale; Scott E. Quinn of Center Port, PA, and Bruce E. Quinn of Philmont, survive her; along with six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Calling hours will be held Friday, September 26 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the French, Gifford, Preiter & Blasl Funeral Home, 25 Railroad Avenue, Chatham.
A future private memorial service will be held in Eden, Vermont.

Burton J. Schrenkeisen (1950 – 2014)
CANAAN—Burton J. Schrenkeisen, 64, passed away peacefully at his home, Sunday, September 21.
Born January 18, 1950 in Hudson, he was the son of the late Raymond and Dorothy Schrenkeisen of East Chatham.
A graduate of the Chatham High School Class of 1968, Mr. Schrenkeisen pursued his passion for carpentry for 41 years.
He worked for R.C. Snow Contracting and R.F. Rudat Construction, among others. He went on to establish Schrenkeisen Construction.
Nothing gave Mr. Schrenkeisen, nicknamed Joe Bob by his fellow carpenters, more pleasure than to know every job he completed was a part of his life. His hearty laugh and genuine personality will be greatly missed.
Mr. Schrenkeisen was also an avid hunter and fisherman, and he always looked forward to the start of a new season.
He is survived by: his fiancee, Sandra Fila, and his “Little One,” Sarah Hanlon of Canaan; brothers, Raymond Schrenkeisen of Nassau and Robert (Lisa) Schrenkeisen of Dade City, FL. He was predeceased by his sister, Claire Schrenkeisen.

David I. Ilchuk (1954 – 2014)
HUDSON—David I. Ilchuk, 60, of Hudson died September 15, 2014 at Columbia Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
Born July 9, 1954 in Manhattan, he was the son of the late Frank Ilchuk and Grace (Cohen) Ilchuk of New York City.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Thomas S. Snow
RENSSELAER—Thomas S. Snow, 52, of Rensselaer died Saturday, September 20, 2014 at home.
He was born in Albany and worked at Albany Medical Center before becoming disabled.
He was predeceased by his father, Thomas W. Snow.
He is survived by: his daughter, Nicole S. Snow; a son, Brian J. Snow; his mother, Lucille (Barbaro) Snow; his sister, Kathleen T. (Keith) Valden; his grandsons, Tahkai H. Hodges and Cardell A. Vaughnes; ex-wife and close companion, Amy L. Tynan; several aunts, uncles and nieces.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Thursday morning, September 25, 9 a.m. from the Rockefeller Funeral Home, 165 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer and 9:30 a.m. at the Church of St. Mary, 163 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, where a Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 4 to 7 p.m. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rensselaer.

Mary F. Smith (1944 – 2014)
ALBANY—Mary F. Smith, 69, a lifelong Nassau resident, passed away September 17 at Albany Memorial Hospital.
She was a homemaker and member of the Nassau American Legion Post # 1268 Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by: sons, Clayton J. Stanley of Troy and Carl H. Stanley of Poughkeepsie; daughters, Christine A. Piasnik of East Greenbush and Catherine Lester of Gainsville, FL; a brother, Michael D. Desmond of Columbia, SC; sisters, Carol Desmond of North Chatham and Elizabeth Desmond of North Charleston, SC; long-time companion, William Bryant of Kinderhook; four grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.
The Nassau American Legion Post # 1268 Ladies Auxiliary conducted a service for Ms. Smith, September 20 at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm Street, Nassau. Memorial contributions may be made to the Nassau American Legion Post # 1268 Ladies Auxiliary, P.O. Box 632, Nassau 12123.
