Joan B. Sucato (1940 – 2015)
TORRINGTON, CT—Joan B. Sucato, 74, of Millerton passed away March 3, 2015 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital after a long battle with cancer.
Born December 21, 1940 in St. Regis Falls, she was the daughter of Casper and Beatrice (Servant) Palmer.
Ms. Sucato worked for many years as an aide at the Wassaic Developmental Center.
Survivors include: a son, Timothy LaValley and his wife Courtney of Gallatin; a daughter, Stacy Phynne and her husband Kevin of GA; brothers, Gregory Palmer of AR, and Randal Palmer of Ballston Spa; five grandchildren and many loving great-grandchildren.
There are no calling hours.
A memorial service was held at the North East Baptist Church, 1 Maple Avenue, Millerton, March 7.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Ms. Sucato may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 1311 Mamaroneck Avenue Suite 310, White Plains 10605.

Edith J. Woodward (1920 – 2015)
PINE PLAINS—Edith J. Woodward, 94, passed away peacefully at home, Thursday, February 26, 2015.
She was born August 2, 1920 in Pine Plains, the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth (Knickerbocker) Morill.
Mrs. Woodward was a sewing machine operator for the Pine Plains Shirt Factory.
She was a member of the Pine Plains Ladies Auxiliary, an avid bowler and softball player. She was a good cook and especially liked spending time with the family around the holidays.
On October 4, 1940 in Pine Plains, she married the late Harold J. Woodward. He predeceased her February 2, 2007.
Survivors include: a daughter, Sandy Caswell of Pine Plains; two sons, Alan “Woody” and his wife Joan Woodward of Ancram and David and his wife Bonita Woodward of Westerville, OH; eight grandchildren, Rick, Jon, David, Abby, Sara, Anna, Michelle and Warren; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
There are no calling hours.
Funeral service and burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Louise J. Coons (1923 – 2015)
SHARON, CT—Louise J. Coons, 91, of Pine Plains passed away at Sharon Hospital, Wednesday, February 18, 2015.
Born September 9, 1923 in Ancram, she was the daughter of Raymond and Julia (Finkle) Beckley.
On December 2, 1941, she married Ralph E. Coons in Rhinecliff. He predeceased her in 2004.
Mrs. Coons was a nurse’s aide for several years at Northern Dutchess Hospital as well as a gifted seamstress in Pine Plains. She was also a member of the Pine Plains Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Coons is survived by: her son, Ralph Coons of Tucson, AZ; daughters, Julia Coons of Pine Plains, Joy Ball of Red Hook, Joyce Caterino of Newburgh, Janice Kunen of Ghent and Jo-Ann Coons of Copake; a brother, Frederick Beckley of Tucson, AZ; 13 grandchildren; several great- and great-great-grandchildren; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours or services and interment services in Evergreen Cemetery, Pine Plains, will be announced later this spring.

Larry W. Jennings (1945 – 2015)
HUDSON—Larry W. Jennings, 69, of Germantown passed March 6, 2015 at Columbia Memorial Hospital with his loving family at his bedside.
He was born March 18, 1945 in Hudson, the son of the Betty (Funk) Jennings of Germantown and the late William T. Jennings.
Mr. Jennings served in the National Guard from 1965 to 1971. Prior to his retirement, he was a self-employed contractor and owned Jennings Contracting in Germantown. Mr. Jennings had also worked part-time for the Germantown Highway Department.
Survivors in addition to his mother are: two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Michele Jennings and Richard and Ann Jennings, all of Germantown; one brother, Allan (Gidget) Jennings of Rhinebeck; two sisters, Donna Koppel of Florida, and Doris (Tom) Palazzo of New Jersey, and five grandsons.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, March 10, 6 to 8 p.m. at the Yadack-Fox Funeral Home, 209 Main Street, Germantown.
Services will be held Wednesday, March 11, 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Reverend David Tipple officiating.
Interment will follow in the Reformed Church Cemetery in Germantown.

Linda Suzanne Blake (1964 – 2015)
CHATHAM—Linda Suzanne Blake, first born child of John R. Blake and Carol (Goodrich) Blake was called home to the loving arms of the Lord, March 2, 2015 from complications of adrenal cancer.
She was born January 1, 1964 and is survived by both parents; three sisters, Karen (Gary) Blake-Kittle, Melissa (Tab) Eigenbrodt and Rebecca (Adam) Martin; her beloved “step-son,” Kyle Montag and his father, Hans; as well as several nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours and further arrangements will be made privately by the family.
In lieu of flowers or donations, the family asks the simple remembrance of her infectious smile and warm, generous personality. “Honor her life by sharing the same unending happiness and kindness that she did, to those you meet.
