GERMANTOWN—Primax Properties, the developer of the Dollar General retail store proposed for Route 9G, has scheduled a public information session Thursday, December 3 at 5:30 p.m. in Town Hall, 50 Palatine Park Road.

Primax is expected to make a presentation and then take questions from the public. This is not a public hearing, but the public is welcome to speak.

“The Planning Board suggested this,” Stephen Reynolds, Planning Board chair, told Monday’s Town Board meeting. “It’s a good way to let some issues come out. People can ask questions. Things brought up will probably come up again.”

The Planning Board meeting, postponed for Thanksgiving, follows at 7 p.m. Mr. Reynolds said he expected during that meeting a “list of considerations” regarding Dollar General from Fred C. Mastroianni of Greenman-Pedersen, Inc., the town’s engineer.
