He attended Taconic Hills schools. An excellent student, he graduated third in his class with a Regents diploma. An avid baseball fan, Mr. Brady played baseball from his youth into high school. He attended the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, earning bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

Mr. Brady moved into the exciting new internet space around this time. In 1996 Mr. Brady joined a startup called Virtumundo. Their first product, a gaming website called Treeloot.com became the 17th ranked Media-Metrix website on the internet. The game content changed as one progressed through the game, custom tailoring the experience to each user. Mr. Brady then built the site’s ad server that handled billions of impressions per month. At his next position at Adknowledge, he built an ad-serving platform that allowed dynamic insertion of advertisements into email. He was the inventor and holds the patent on this technology. For the past three years Mr. Brady worked on application development, and most recently had moved into the Fintech space at Payability, Inc.

He was widely respected by his peers and mentored many younger programmers as they stated their careers. He was known throughout the cyber industry for his technical brilliance.

Mr. Brady was an animal lover who rescued and fostered numerous dogs at his property. The dogs enjoyed 25 acres of fenced-in yard to run and play with him by their sides. He was also involved in the skeptic community to promote science and critical thinking.

A beloved husband, son, brother and uncle, he will be dearly missed by his family, colleagues and pets. His family, friends and colleagues remember him as a kind and decent man and they never heard him utter a spiteful or hurtful word….. not ever. Mr. Brady had an idealism that kept him moving forward: “Follow intellectual curiosity, always be learning something new, and always try and improve.”
