Daniel V. Fuda (1966 – 2017)

ALBANY—Daniel V. Fuda, 50, of Valatie died Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Albany Medical Center.

Born September 7, 1966 in Hudson, he was the son of the late Charles M. Fuda and Jane (Magsamen) Fuda of Apex, NC.

Mr. Fuda was employed by Plug Power in Latham as a mechanical designer. He was a member of the Hook Boat Club in Stuyvesant and loved hanging out there with his family and friends. He enjoyed hiking, traveling and DIY projects. He was a kind, gentle soul who will be missed by many.

Besides his mother, he is survived by: his beloved wife of 23 years, Janice A. (Palladino) Fuda; his brother, Charles “Corky” Fuda (Nadine) of Castleton; two sisters, Ruth Wormald of Apex, NC, and Marie Scott (Andrew) of Valatie; his faithful dog and companion, Tilly; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 6, 11 a.m. at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, 1015 Kinderhook Street, Valatie. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Valatie. Calling hours will be Monday, June 5 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral Home.
