Lynn Marie McCann (1961 – 2017)
COPAKE—Lynn Marie (Miller) McCann, 56, of Copake passed away peacefully at home on the morning of Friday, June 30 surrounded by her family and beloved dog, Dusty.
She was predeceased by her parents, Harriet (Edelman) Miller and David R. Miller, Sr., of Hillsdale.
She graduated from Taconic Hills High School, class of 1980 and later received an associate’s degree in computer science from Columbia-Greene Community College.
Mrs. McCann worked in the banking industry for more than 30 years in Columbia and Greene counties.
She loved gardening and vacationing with her family in York Beach Maine, Lake George, Aruba and Mirror Lake in the Adirondacks.
She is lovingly remembered by: her husband, Kevin McCann of Copake; a daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Scotty McAdoo of Menands and a son, Robert William McCann of Copake. She also leaves a sister and brother-in-law, Deborah and Paul Chaikowski of Mellenville; a sister, Karen Miller of Exeter, CA, and a brother, David Miller of Hudson; her brother-in-laws, William McCann of Copake and Joe Murphy and wife Marlene of Glenville; two aunts, Peggy and Lois Edelman, both of Hillsdale, along with several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited and may call at the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, 8063 State Route 22 in Copake, Monday, July 3, 2017 from noon to 2 p.m.
Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Private interment will be held at a later date.

Hertha H. Johnson
VALATIE—Hertha Johnson, age 95, of Valatie went to be with her Lord, June 29.
She was born in Cairo, to George and Florence Huson.
Mrs. Johnson graduated from Martin H. Glynn High School before graduating from SUNY Cobleskill with a degree in nursery education. She married the love of her life, Lars Johnson, May 8, 1943 and they shared 73 cherished years together. She worked in the Ichabod Crane Central School cafeterias and was well-known for her baking skills.
Mrs. Johnson was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. She and her husband enjoyed traveling and camping, gardening and spending time with their family and friends. She sewed together multiple Warm Up America afghans and finished her last one just last week. Mrs. Johnson will be remembered for her faith, love and grace. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was a faithful and active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Valatie, serving as deacon and financial secretary. She was an active member of the community as a 4-H leader, member of Eastern Star and Alan Devoe Bird Club and a volunteer for the Meals on Wheels program. She held a special place in her heart for children and dogs.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by: her children, Eric (Rosalie) Johnson, Nadean (William) Behrens, Hertha (George) Matuszek and grandchildren, Andrew, Timothy and Kevin Johnson and Aaron and Neil Behrens. Mrs. Johnson was predeceased by her husband, Lars and her sisters, Ethel Buchholz and Dorothy Wilkins.
A celebration of her life takes place July 3, 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 3212 Church Street, Valatie and interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Valatie.
Mrs. Johnson’s family thanks the staff of Columbia / Greene Hospice for their care and support and also the staff at Barnwell Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center.

Robert E. Disher, Sr. (1945 – 2017)
GERMANTOWN—Robert E. Disher, Sr., 72, of Cheviot died Thursday, June 29, 2017 at this home.
Born February 2, 1945 in Hudson, he was the son of the late Earl and Isabelle (Clow) Disher.
He worked for more than 45 years as transportation supervisior at Taconic Farms in Germantown. Mr. Disher was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing.
Surviving are: two sons, Robert E. Disher, Jr., and Trevor Disher and two grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents; a sister, Marie Disher and brother, Ronald Disher.
In keeping with his wishes there will be no calling hours or services.

Catherine Lockenwitz-Charron (1925 – 2017)
PHILMONT—Catherine M. Lockenwitz-Charron, 92, of Philmont passed away peacefully at home June 28, 2017.
She was born June 27, 1925 in Stockbridge, MA, to William and Ruie (Winters) Brazee.
Catherine worked for many years at Berkshire Business Forms, and then for the Knitting mills in Philmont. She was a loving mother, and grandmother above all else.
Ms. Lockenwitz-Charron is survived by: her six children, Janice Murphy, Russell and Cathy Lockenwitz, Yvonne and Richard Schumann, Albert, Jr. and Sandy Charron, Rose and David Gambacorta, and Robert and Denise Charron; 27 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Albert Charron, Sr.; three sons, Charles, Kevin, Sr., and Dewight Lockenwitz; her daughter, Marilyn “Becky” Garrison; her grandchildren, Ronnie, Natalya and Zachery; her niece, Nadine Forfa; her siblings, Sarah Mills, William, Thomas, Kenneth, Phoebe, Francis and Paul.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 3, 2017, 1 p.m. at Bates & Anderson–Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home, 110 Green Street, Hudson. Interment will follow in Mellenville Union Cemetery. Visitation will precede the service beginning at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Kelly C. Klein (1975 – 2017)
SPRINGFIELD, MA—Kelly Christine Klein, 41, of Springfield, MA, died following a long illness at Bay State Hospital.
Born November 16, 1975 in Springfield, MA, she was the daughter of Bonnie L. Klein Johnson of Hudson and Herbert Maddox.
Ms. Klein was a customer service associate for TD Bank. She will be greatly missed by her parents as well as her brother, James O. Johnson, Jr.; three sisters, Diane, Yolanda and Ruby; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services are incomplete. A graveside memorial gathering at Mellenville Union Cemetery will be announced. Arrangements are with the Sacco-McDonald-Valenti Funeral Home, 700 Town Hall Drive, Greenport.
