Margaret E. Kilmer (1943 – 2017)

STUYVESANT—Margaret E. Kilmer, a/k/a, Dram, Itsy and Aunt Pie, 74, of Stuyvesant died Monday, November 27, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Born February 27, 1943 in Hudson, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Williams, Sr. and Catherine (Hills) Williams of Ghent.

She was employed as a proof reader for Hamilton Press in Castleton for more than 30 years. She was an avid bingo player and a very caring mother, grandmother and sister whose family meant the world to her.

Besides her mother, she is survived by: her husband, Robert Kilmer; two daughters, Connie Brandley and Bonnie Kilmer, both of Stuyvesant; five siblings, Cathy Eitleman of Chatham, Connie Alger of Valatie, Sadie Lewis of Sand Lake, Janet Eggnasher of Kinderhook and Kenneth Williams of Stockport; three grandchildren, Shauna Cripps, Zackary Brandley and Carrie Lee Svida; four great-grandchildren, Nicholas Cripps, Trenton Brandley, Serenity and Harley Walters; several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held Friday, December 1 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Glencadia Rod and Gun Club in Stuyvesant Falls. Arrangements are with the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, 1015 Kinderhook Street, Valatie.

George J. Bray, Sr. (1965 – 2017)

CLAVERACK—George Joseph Bray, Sr., 52, of Claverack passed away November 19 2017.

He was born December 30, 1965 in Catskill to the late George F. and Pauline (Price) Bray.

Mr. Bray was line cook for many years at the Paramount Grill, before going to work at KAZ Inc., as a forklift operator until his retirement.

He enjoyed fishing and tinkering with different things. He especially enjoyed garden tractor pulls and had his own tractor for pulling. He was a member of the Hudson Valley Old Time Power Association.

Mr. Bray is survived by: his wife, Tammy Genito; his six children, Brian (Courtney), George Jr. (Rebekah), Zach (Pamela), Elizabeth, Victoria and Alexandria Bray; many grandchildren; two brothers, Michael and David Bray and a sister-in-law, Sandra Rex.

A celebration of Mr. Bray’s life will be held in the spring.

Alicia M. Fernandez (1976 – 2017)

ALBANY—Alicia M. Fernandez, 41, of Hudson died November 22 of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Kinderhook.

Born in Hudson, she was the daughter of Manuel Fernandez and the late Linda Briggs.

Ms. Fernandez was predeceased by a her second mother, Grace Fernandez; sister, Samantha Briggs; brother, Stephen Fernandez and grandmother, Ethel Fernandez.

She will be greatly missed by her loving family including: her son, Creshawn Mackey; daughters, Sha-Quita Fernandez, Shontasia Branch and Jenna Ryder; brothers, Justin, Lontrice, Jason and William Fernandez; sisters, Michelle McEachern, Angelika L. Fernandez, Angelia Fernandez, Anita Fernandez and Lindsey VanDeusen; step-mother, Fran Merendino; four grandchildren, Desean, Raelyn, Ayvah and Alivia.

Cheryl L. Noeth

NIVERVILLE—Cheryl L. Noeth of Niverville died at her residence Tuesday, November 21.

Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late William and Shirley Louise Williams Norkus.

Ms. Noeth was a member of the Nassau Reformed Church. She loved the outdoors and playing cards, especially pinochle. She loved being with family and most of all—the times spent with her boys.

Ms. Noeth is survived by: three sons, Matthew Noeth of Londonderry, NH, Jeremy Noeth of Salem, MA, and Andrew Noeth of Wilmington NC; her partner, Robert Welsh; a sister, Mary Meara; three brothers, Mike, Bill and Gene Norkus; and her four-legged grand-pups, Steve, Axel and Toby.

A funeral service was held Tuesday, November 28 at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm Street, Nassau. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
