Paul T. Silvernail (1965 – 2018)

ALBANY—Paul T. Silvernail, 52, passed away peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital surrounded by his family February 27, 2018.

He was born April 23, 1965 in Hudson.

Mr. Silvernail was a welder and owned Silvernail Welding. He enjoyed motorcycles, camping and hunting. He had a love of the river and enjoyed boating. Most of all he was a devoted family man who cherished spending time with his family.

He is survived by: his wife, Kathleen; his six children, Tara and her husband Shawn Williams, Paul Jr., Matthew and his wife Kaitlyn, Stephen, Hannah and Christopher Silvernail, and three grandchildren; Scott Rivenburg, Audrey Williams and Hunter Silvernail.

A funeral service was held Friday, March 2 from Bates & Anderson – Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home, 110 Green Street, Hudson. Interment followed in Cedar Park Cemetery.

Giovanna Giovannucci (1922 – 2018)

LIVINGSTON—Giovanna (Forgione) Giovannucci, lovingly known by her family as “Nonna,” age 96, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 1, surrounded by family and loved ones.

She was predeceased by: her husband, Guido “Pop” and her son, Panfilo “Charlie.” She is survived by: a son, Luciano “Lou” and his wife Mary (Johnson) Giovannucci of Livingston; four grandchildren, Dr. Luciano “Louie” and wife Tina (Thomas) of Allegan, MI, Carl and wife Erin (Kopec) of Hudson, Charles and wife Katie (Hancock) of Wethersfield, CT and Catherine (Katie) Giovannucci of Allegan, MI and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Giovannucci was born in Prezza, Italy, and immigrated with her family to the U.S. in 1960 and settled in New Britain, CT, until 1985 when they retired to Livingston. She was an avid seamstress and gardener and an incredible cook.

Calling hours will be at Bates and Anderson-Redmond and Keeler Funeral Home, 110 Green Street, Hudson, Sunday, March 4, 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Hope Church, 8074 State Route 22, Copake Falls, Monday, March 5 at 11 a.m.

Burial will be at the Church of the Nativity, Linlithgo immediately following the funeral Mass.
