GHENT–Four villages in the county–Chatham, Kinderhook, Philmont and Valatie–held annual elections Tuesday, March 20.

In all but the Philmont race, incumbents were running unopposed for their seats on the village boards. In Philmont, former board member Barbara Sagal ran for an open seat vacated by Eilene Morris. The village also had a three-way race for judge, with Carla Ingersoll winning the position. Current Village Justice Russ Immarigeon did not run for reelection.
