Carol A. Dimelow (1950 – 2020)
HUDSON—Carol A. Dimelow, age 69, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, formerly of Hudson, passed away peacefully January 6, 2020.
She was the daughter of the late Alan and Eileen Dimelow. She was a graduate of the Academy of St. Joseph, Brentwood and Marymount College, Tarrytown.
For 23 years, she worked in the corporate trust business at several banks, eventually attaining the position of senior vice president at Key Trust Company in Albany. She then finished her working career at the Columbia County Department of Social Services.
Ms. Dimelow was a member of the Zonta Club of the Upper Hudson Valley and once served as president. She then moved on to hold the position of area 1 director of district 2 of Zonta International. She was also a former member of the AB Shaw Fire Company Auxiliary of which she also once served as president. She was a current member of the Newcomers Club of Port St. Lucie.
Ms. Dimelow was predeceased by her husband and best friend, David S. Sagendorph. She is survived by: two stepchildren, Scott Sagendorph (Toni Holze) and their children Kaleb and Blake, and Pamela DiStefano (Peter) and their children, Joseph and Caronia; her brother-in-law and his wife, Gregg and Julie Sagendorph; many cousins and friends.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date in Cedar Park Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Columbia-Greene Humane Society, 111 Humane Society Road, Hudson 12534.

Jennie Fiero (1925 – 2020)
HUDSON—Jennie Fiero, 94, of Hudson, passed away Sunday January 12, 2020, at Columbia Memorial Hospital.
Born July 10, 1925 in Hudson, she was the daughter of Francisco and Vincenza Martino.
She was a loving, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She loved to cook, and spending time with her family was most special to her. She was an all-around great person, who will be truly missed.
Left to cherish her memory are: her children, Bruce, Brian and Debbie Fiero; grandchildren, Brian Fiero, Jr., Bruce Fiero, Jr., Brittany Fiero, Adrienne Brodowski and Lucas Brodowski; several great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Mrs. Fiero was predeceased by her husband, Grayford Fiero; son, Russell Fiero; her siblings, Mary Staats, Theresa Van Kuren, Rose Melino, Antoinette Mormile, and Peter, Bruno, Carmen, Louis and Joseph Martino.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday January 15, 10 a.m. from Holy Trinity/ St. Mary’s Parish in Hudson. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Stuyvesant Falls Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Bates & Anderson – Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home, 110 Green Street, Hudson.
Clyde L. Tinklepaugh (1923 – 2020)
RHINEBECK—Clyde L. Tinklepaugh, 96, a longtime Livingston resident, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Northern Dutchess Hospital.
Born February 4, 1923 in Utica, he was the son of the late John R. and Myrtie (Lasher) Tinklepaugh.
He served in the Marine Corps from 1943 to 1947 during World War II. He participated in action in Okinawa and during the occupation of North China. He was wounded in action in May 1945 and earned a Purple Heart for his service.
He married Patricia Abrial, January 24, 1948 in Red Hook, she predeceased him May 25, 2000.
For many years, Mr. Tinklepaugh worked as the director of the Columbia County Real Property Tax Office.
An avid boater, he was a longtime member of the Hudson Power Boat Association and served as commander for more than 15 years. He also was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary.
He is survived by: his children, Clyde (Nancy) Tinklepaugh of Wilmington, DE, Patricia T. Moore of Red Hook, Pamela Tinklepaugh of Millbrook, Priscilla (Bob) Mazal of Livingston and Prudence Richmond of Red Hook; a sister, Maryann Tinklepaugh Fish of Washington, D.C.; his grandchildren, Karen, Kathryn, Kim, Jason, Tiffany, Christopher, Whitney, Tyler, Paul, Andrew and Parker; five great-grandchildren; a niece; a nephew; extended family and friends.
A brother, John “Jackie” Tinklepaugh predeceased him while serving in the Air Force.
A funeral service took place at the Burnett & White Funeral Homes, 7461 South Broadway, Red Hook, Monday, January 13, 2020 followed by burial with military honors at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Manorton,
Eileen M. Ketcham (1931 – 2020)
PITTSFIELD, MA—Eileen M. Ketcham, 88, of West Lebanon passed away suddenly at Berkshire Medical Center, January 6, 2020.
