Don’t knock it, but do be open to the spirit of the season

This year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Village of Kinderhook’s holiday celebration looked a little different, like many others in the county. Part of the celebration organized by the village and The Kinderhook Business and Professional Association (KBPA) was a door decorating contest. The historic house at 29 Albany Avenue (pictured here after the December 17 snowstorm) was one of the second place winners in the contest. The winners, announced in earlier December, also included first place winner 67 Broad Street, and two other second place winners: 30 Broad Street and 2 Martin Court. Photo by David Lee
