While Columbia and Greene counties are experiencing a “Pause” in day to day activities, the Hudson River’s annual striped bass and herring migration is in full swing. OK5K sponsors support race and local food bank

KINDERHOOK –Following the postponement of the 22nd running of the OK5K 3.1-mile road race in the Village of Kinderhook, sponsors of the event have insisted their fees continue to support the race and the local food bank it benefits, Race Director Dan Curtin announced in a press release.

“We asked early sponsors what should be done with the money and overwhelmingly they agreed to support the community. Thanks to their generous gifts, the OK5K Race was able to donate $4,850 to help support the Valatie Ecumenical Food Pantry,” Mr. Curtin said in the release. Read more…
